The Book Fair is held in the city during the spring months is one of the most significant cultural events which take place in the city. Since 2002 he is responsible for organizing the Fair Association Book Fair of Seville (AFLS).
Currently (2008) make up the Book Fair Association a total of 22 public and private institutions, among which are the Association of Seville Book Guild, the Writers' Association, the Andalusian Studies Centre Foundation and the Fundación José Manuel Lara. Each event which is held with the presence of prominent writers presented in his recent book fair.
The main sponsors of the Book Fair is the city of Seville and the Andalusian Regional Government through the Ministries of Culture and Education in addition to other significant number of public and private institutions as Cajasol, Canal Sur Radio, Seville Provincial Council, etc.
