The European Film Festival was born in Seville in 2001 initially as Sports Film Festival in Seville and is currently organized (2008) by the City of the Andalusian city. It raises basic objective is the dissemination of European film culture, with special attention to works of emerging, giving entrance to the incorporation of new media of film expression. At the same time, facilitates the meeting of the works of new artists and established artists that let you display a broad perspective on the most recent and significant international productions. The Festival also offers an annual meeting place for the European film industry. In addition to the two competitive sections, a feature film and a documentary, specific cycles are programmed certain authors, film advertising, seminars, concerts and other activities culturales.151 Juries competitive sections are composed of persons of particular relevance the world of cinema and culture.
