The Museum Of Dance Flamenco of Seville is located in the heart of the city, between the famous Plaza de la Alfalfa and the Cathedral.The creation of the museum is due to the initiative of the Seville dancer Cristina Hoyos Baker. After a complete renovation of a building which dates from the eighteenth century opens on April 7, 2006.
It consists of a space divided into four floors, with the basement and one more.
It is in this basement where it has retained the atmosphere of the early days of the building is intended for exhibitions, workshops, classes in dance and something else.

After a religious ceremony among the various Jewish communities, Muslim and Christian on December 18, 2005, it was decided that this day is considered the day of the Museum Of Dance Flamenco.
